2. WILLIAMSBURG - NEW YORK
A district that does not need any introduction. The more radical now consider it too " mainstream ", but it is undeniable that these roads are one of the favorite hipster hubs around the world . Places of "must-see" there are many, but one of the most beautiful (and good) is definitely Smorgasburg , the food market every Saturday invades the East River park with stalls of goodies for everyone. Ah ... the view of New York is not bad!

3. KREUZBERG - BERLIN
The true hipster mecca of Europe , where trends are born and end up in a month, but the excesses and eccentricities are always on the agenda. In the most alternative of Berlin , including a swimming pool floating on the river and a minigolf phosphorescent underground, there will never be bored. A recommended stop by Voo Store , clothing store and multi-objects where you will find many, many things that perhaps you will never use, but it certainly will make you feel incredibly cool.

4. PEARL DISTRICT - PORTLAND
Find the most hipster neighborhood in the world capital of checkered shirts is a tall order. Undoubtedly, in the Pearl District the combination art / food / music reigns supreme for years, and the word " handmade"stands out in a thousand and one windows. The real institution, however, Powell's City of Books , is said tohave the largest library of volumes used (but also new) in the world. In fact occupies an entire block, and of course there is a bar inside.
5. SÖDERMALM - STOCKHOLM
Söder is everything: vintage galore of course , but also a lot of good Scandinavian design and DJ sets all over the place, from bike shops to museums. Do not forget, however, that this is the neighborhood ofStockholm , where the main characters live the best-selling Stieg Larsson , and then a special mention goes to Konst-ig , a lovely independent bookstore dedicated to publications on art , architecture, graphic design, fashion, and much more yet. To spend an entire afternoon!

6. DALSTON - LONDON
The beating heart of London's alternative culture , also appointed by the Guardian " the coolest place in Britain . " The nightclubs are many, as well as clothing stores and second-hand records, not counting the spaces dedicated to art and design. Small pearl is also the Farm: shop , an experiment in urban agriculturethat is home hydroponic gardens, bar, co-working, event hall, and even the chickens on the roof. Enough to warrant an exploratory tour! A London then ...

7. NOORD-AMSTERDAM - AMSTERDAM
It is called so because it is in the north of the IJ , the piece of water that cuts through the city and fills the famous canals of Amsterdam . In the past the commercial port, now disused warehouses are home creative start-ups, festivals, restaurants and the beautiful ... IJ-Hallen , the largest flea market in Europe that attracts visitors and vendors from all over the continent. But beware, this paradise there is only one weekend a month: keep this in mind when you book your trip to the north!

8. FITZROY - MELBOURNE
If Melbourne is the hipster heart of Australia , Fitzroy is its epicenter . Here are the most beautiful buildings of the city, and the small, but valuable, Centre for Contemporary Photography . Once a year there is also the Fringe Festival, the most famous arts festival in the world. And then there's the Third Drawer Down , one of those stores that sell things as useless as stunning: those who have never wanted a chair shaped like a donut ? Or a banana as iPhone case? Here, in fact. Good luck.

9. Nørrebro - COPENHAGEN
The ideal place for those who love the rough wooden planks, the bakeries, pubs with forty kinds of different beers, the bike anyway. In short, all those little things that make life better. Such as Laundromat Cafe , a bar where you go to do the laundry , and while waiting for the laundry to be ready drink a coffee, you have the wi-fi, eat a slice of cake or read a magazine. Simple, is not it? Yes, and also beautiful.

10. BEYOGLU - ISTANBUL
Call it a neighborhood is an understatement: the amount of things to see, taste and listen for its narrow streets make it a pretty town in its own, hovering between a noble past and a present curious and modern . Lose yourself in passages and galleries, enjoy the music that comes out of the café in Istanbul , and go in search of treasure from Karakoy Junk , the vintage paradise where everything seems to be overlooked, but there is not even a speck of dust out of place .
11. CANAL ST MARTIN - PARIS
This channel must have seen so many, considering that for several years has been the favorite destination for young bohemian Parisians , who are picnic on its banks, taking thousands of photos and drinking red wine until late at night. It is located right on the water overlooking the Point Ephemere , a former warehouse now the cultural center of reference in the area (and the entire city of Paris ). Concerts, exhibitions, a beautiful bar, artist studios: it will be difficult to get away.

12. FLORENTIN - TEL AVIV
A fascinating mix of industrial buildings and residential complexes brand new, populated mostly by artists, students and foreigners. The graffiti are everywhere , as well as boutiques, small bars of street food and nightlife that every evening are filled with life and music of all kinds. Take a trip (but also two or three) to ' Har Sinai , a small club in the shadow of the largest synagogue in the city . Evocative is an understatement.

13. Malasaña - MADRID
Many consider it the birthplace of nightlife, international and Spanish before then. What is certain is that from the late 70s through the narrow streets of Malasaña have not seen a moment of peace, and today I am in better shape than ever. I do not even miss the beach! By Ojala fact you can eat and drink cerveza with my feet sunk in the sand , in an atmosphere worthy of a sunset in the Balearics. Well, almost.

14. Kallio - HELSINKI
Anyone who thinks that in Finland people are cold and there is nothing you can do will change their mind instantly. This district is in fact quite the opposite: liberal, party animal, full of stimuli - and make excellent places for brunch. An example: Made in Kallio , design shop local and delicious bar , which serves summer of blueberry smoothies in a terrace of makeshift chairs on the sidewalk . Someone said blueberry smoothies? Oh yes, you heard right.

15. GRACIA - BARCELONA
It is the district of Parc Guell and Casa Vicens , there's no doubt about this. But do not think for a moment that the charm of Gracia ends with Gaud i! Its narrow streets filled with shops and libraries are there to be explored, and the squares are waiting for you as soon as the sun sets. The bars are so many, but the 'Heliogàbal has the famous extra: a program of concerts and events as thick as a forest - you will not want to go out into the night.
